A fastener price is only meaningful when the quoted product matches the project requirement. Sending the information below at the beginning reduces repeated questions and prevents a low price from being based on the wrong grade, coating or packing.

1. Product and technical reference
Send the product name together with the exact DIN, GB, ISO, ANSI, ASTM or other standard number. If the item is drawing-based, provide a clear PDF drawing and revision. A sample photo is useful, but it should not replace dimensions or a drawing.
2. Dimensions, thread and assembly
- Diameter, pitch and thread system
- Overall length and threaded length
- Head, drive, point or anchor configuration
- Matched nut, washer, sleeve or accessory requirements
- Critical tolerances identified on the drawing
3. Material, grade and coating
State the material and property class or grade. For hot-dip galvanized fasteners, include the required coating standard, coating thickness when specified, thread allowance or fit requirement, and any test documentation. These details are especially important for marine, infrastructure and tropical export destinations.
4. Quantity, packing and delivery
- Quantity by size and item, not only a total weight
- Bag, carton, pallet, kit or customer-label requirement
- Required inspection certificate, test report or material document
- Destination port or delivery point and requested Incoterm
- Required delivery schedule and whether partial shipment is acceptable
